Presently we have 3 animal health technicians, and 5 customer representatives to care for and assist both our clients and patients.
Brookville Veterinary Clinic has been serving the Nassagaweya community for over 120 years and “although the staff has changed, the caring service has not”.
Stephen was born in Toronto, Ontario. He attended University of Toronto and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in 1974. He then acquired a Master Degree of Science from McGill University in Montreal. In 1982, he graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Stephen worked at Brookville Veterinary Clinic his first year after graduation, practicing both large and small medicine . In 1983 he moved to Sault St Marie, joining the team at Northland Animal Hospital, and staying there until he moved to Milton in 1986. Stephen returned to purchase Brookville Veterinary clinic in 1991. He and his wife reside in Milton.

Jenn attended the University of Guelph and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Biology in 2004. She was then accepted into the Ontario Veterinary College in 2004. Jenn spent six weeks in Grenada helping the local Veterinarians, while gaining extensive experience in feline and canine medicine. She graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and joined Brookville Veterinary Clinic that same year. In 2010, Jenn was awarded for her volunteer work as an instructor at the Ontario Veterinary College, which she is presently still involved with. Jenn is now a partner/owner of Brookville Clinic Veterinary. Jenn and her family reside in Eden Mills.
Born and raised in Speyside, Ontario where she lived with her parents, two older sisters and a younger brother.
Laura attended the University of Guelph and graduated with a Bachelors of Biological Sciences in 2015. She was then accepted into the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at Ross University in St. Kitts, West Indies, which allowed her to combine her love of travel with her dream of becoming a vet. She went on to complete her final clinical year in Dublin, Ireland and graduated in May of 2019. Laura’s family have been long-time clients of Brookville Veterinary Clinic and she completed an externship with us in December 2018 so was excited to join the team after returning to Canada. She has an interest in diagnostic imagining, pain management and acupuncture.
On her days off she enjoys reading, hiking, live music and riding her retired racehorse Spaghetti. She currently resides in the rural Milton area with her 3 cats Sid, Johnny and Clementine.
Dr Tanya McKenna was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario.
She attended the University of Guelph and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Biology in 2007. She then went on to obtain a Master of Science degree for her research in sheep reproduction endocrinology. In 2011, she was accepted into the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at the University of Melbourne, Australia. She graduated in December of 2014, with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After returning to Canada, she was employed at a 24 hour, Emergency Clinic in Brantford, Ontario. This experience gave her varied knowledge in emergency medicine. Tanya joined the team at Brookville Veterinary Clinic in 2016. She has a special interest in surgery and reproduction.
